Fort Wayne, IN (June 21, 2024) – Last week, Ruoff Mortgage’s corporate employees participated in a day-long volunteer initiative in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne. This initiative allowed employees easy access to a unique volunteer opportunity which resulted in 40 new walls for a home that will be located on the Southeast side of Fort Wayne.

“For us, being able to provide support to organizations and individuals in the communities that we serve further drives our mission,” said Director of Partnerships and Public Relations at Ruoff Mortgage, Leah Schoenle. “The partnership with Habitat for Humanity is a perfect match, not only is the work they do necessary to strengthen our community, but it has a natural tie to our goal to help as many homeowners as possible, regardless of situational factors.”

Over the course of the day, 100 Ruoff Mortgage employees, Habitat for Humanity crew members and future Habitat homeowners volunteered their time and energy to complete the full frame of the three bedroom, two bath home.
