Bedford, IN (February 1, 2024) –Ruoff Mortgage is excited to announce a partnership and donation to Bedford’s new Career Center Innovations program. This partnership and funding will be used to support the student-run business program at the center.

"We are very excited to begin our student run business, Career Center Innovations,” shares Darin Powell, Engineering Instructor & Lead Advisor at Career Center Innovations. “It will serve as an opportunity for students to gain real world experience in their areas of study during the school day. Our goal is to not only give our students the opportunity to further practice their technical skills, but to gain valuable employability skills allowing them to further advance in their careers after graduation. Our community and industry partners will be essential to the success of CCI and help guide and advise our students in their business ventures. We cannot thank our local Ruoff partners enough and greatly appreciate their generous donation to help our program with a successful launch!"

Programming at the Career Center is vast and covers a wide variety of topics. Teachers, mentors and guest speakers come together to help provide real-life, hands-on experience that will benefit students as they focus on their futures after school. Area 40 Students benefit from 15 different Career Center program offerings and the opportunity of advanced career and technical education with dual college credits, certifications, and work-based learning.
