FORT WAYNE, IN (June 23, 2021) – Residential mortgage lender Ruoff Mortgage announced the addition of Kyle Lunford, Director of Homeownership & Community Development, to their Fort Wayne corporate office.

In the coming months, Lunford will focus on developing and implementing a financial literacy program that will serve under-resourced communities. The program will cover topics ranging from general financial best practices to the path to homeownership. Lunford is working to roll out the program in Fort Wayne, initially, and grow it throughout Ruoff’s Midwest footprint.  

“My goal for this new initiative is to expand financial literacy and homeownership access in Fort Wayne by partnering with local organizations. I believe that if we work with local leaders, we can create a brighter future for the next generation,” said Lunford. “I hope to set up the next generation for stable and affordable homeownership through knowledge and resources.”

Lunford was previously with Teacher’s Credit Union as the manager of their Mortgage Direct unit. He has been in the mortgage and banking industry since 2008. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from Bethel College and his MBA from the University of Saint Francis. Lunford is on the board for nonprofit, Heroes Camp, as well as serving a three-year term on the board of PBS 39.
