Fort Wayne, IN (August 4, 2026) – Ruoff Mortgage Owner and CEO, Mark Music, received his Red Coat from Mad Anthonys Foundation during the organization’s Gala that took place this past Sunday, August 2nd.

This honor recognizes Hoosiers who have made significant contributions to the northeast region and the greater state of Indiana. The Red Coat award is given to those who have excelled in fields such as sports, business, and philanthropy. Through signature events like the Red Coat Gala and the Pro-Am golf tournament, the Mad Anthonys Foundation has raised over $5 million for local charities, primarily focusing on children’s organizations throughout northeast Indiana.

Music was announced as an honoree in February of this year. The announcement sited his deep commitment to the development of Fort Wayne and the greater northeast Indiana region as being one of the reasons he was an obvious choice to receive this year’s recognition. In addition to the extensive support shown to communities across Indiana through Ruoff’s philanthropic efforts, Music is also being recognized for his contributions through Fort Wayne Football Club, of which he serves as the principal owner.

Music received his Red Coat alongside DaMarcus Beasley - Fort Wayne native, Four-Time World Cup veteran, and Director of Football Operations for FWFC. Historically, other Red Coat recipients include former Vice President Mike Pence, former Colts Quarterback Peyton Manning, and former Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, to name a few.

“It was a very special night and one that I’ll always remember,” said Music. “Early on in my career, one of my core philosophies was to foster community. Back then, I had our employees in mind. And while that is still one of my main priorities, over time that community has expanded beyond those I know personally. The alignment of passion and purpose is something that I’ve been very fortunate to find and share with my community. I know Mad Anthonys shares those same values, so to represent their organization with a Red Coat is something I will carry forward with great pride.”

This recognition comes as Music approaches his 20th year as the CEO of the Fort Wayne founded mortgage company, and as the club continues their first pro season in USL League One. In addition, the team is playing on their new home pitch – a 9,200 capacity soccer specific stadium that features Ruoff Mortgage as the naming rights partner. Ruoff Mortgage Stadium is a privately funded development by Music.

“Mark and DaMarcus truly exemplify what we value and love about our Red Coat recipients,” said Kellene Pepple, Executive Director of the Mad Anthonys Foundation. “Their commitment to our community and investment in making it a world-class place to live, work and play makes them more than deserving of this recognition.”

The 2026 Red Coat Gala was followed by the organization’s Pro-Am golf tournament, which took place at Fort Wayne Country Club yesterday, Monday, August 3rd.
